UltraMeal Bar is a medical food in a convenient bar form to complement the UltraMeal Body Composition Program. Like the original UltraMeal
medical food powdered drink mix, UltraMeal Bar nutritionally supports
the management of conditions associated with metabolic syndrome, such
as:

- A delicious and satisfying meal option with a low-glycemic-index
(approximately 28) and heart-healthy soy protein that ensures sound
nutrition in a convenient, tasty bar form.
- Ensures a high quality source of soy protein with a typical range of 15 mg to 23 mg of isoflavones.
- Provides a typical range of 2 to 2.5 mg of inulin, a prebiotic fiber to support healthy intestinal function.
- Contains a typical range of 70 mg to 100 mg of catechins, which
support a broad range of health functions (including healthy hormone
balance, glucose function, and blood sugar levels).
- Available in a variety of delicious flavors—Apple Cinnamon, Lemon Zinger, Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Raspberry, and Chocolate Fudge (available Fall 2004).
- Apple Cinnamon and Lemon Zinger feature a non-dairy vanilla soy coating.
- Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Banana, and Chocolate Fudge feature
a dairy-free chocolate coating (ActivCoat™) with a bioactive
phytonutrient blend that contains a typical range of 70 mg to 100 mg of
catechins, which support a broad range of health functions (including

Vitamin A Warning:
Excess Vitamin A intake may be toxic and may increase the risk of birth
defects. Pregnant women and women who may become pregnant should not
exceed 5,000 IU of pre-formed vitamin A (retinyl acetate or retinyl
palmitate) per day. It is also recommended that children under four
should not regularly consume more than 2,500 IU per day.
